To celebrate the legacy of the iconic 808 drum machine, Complex and Puma hosted an event to release a sneaker collab inspired by the 808. Remembering a time when music and media took up physical space in our lives objects like vintage records, speakers, turntables, and old TV’s were used to create display moments around the event space.

For this Patron of the New pop up event I worked for creative director Matthew Pecina to realize the launch of Advisory Board Crystals “A Study of Camouflage.” To reflect the imprint’s ethos, neon and black lights were used to cast a striking neon haze into the event installation. We also incorporated greenery and nature-inspired elements to create a jungle-meets-retail concept environment.
